Cuban Car Paintings

Daniel Roca was born in Havana on the 27th of June 1967. He studied Industrial Design at the Instituto de Diseρo Industrial in Havana, from which he graduated in 1987. He started painting in 1996 and has developed a large following for his distinctive car paintings. The artist works from photographs taken on the streets of Havana. While he often paints the same scene many times, each painting is original and will vary slightly from other versions of that scene.
